Outpatient excess is the amount per person that needs to be reached in benefits before a member can claim money back.
It is the benefit on your policy that contributes towards the outpatient excess and not the amount the member has paid for the treatment.
In the example below, assume that there is an outpatient excess of €200 and that the treatments are all claimable under the policy.
